Who We Are

Mission & Vision

🎯

Our Mission

To welcome, disciple and equip English-speaking believers living in Guinea, building a Christ-centered family that worships together, grows in faith, and serves our host community with love.

🔭

Our Vision

To be a thriving, multicultural church that reflects the diversity of God's kingdom — reaching expatriates, students and English speakers of every nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and sending them out as light wherever they go next.

Since Our Founding

Our Story

International Church began as a small prayer gathering among expatriate families in Conakry and has grown, by God's grace, into a vibrant multicultural congregation. Here are some of the milestones along the way.

2011

A Prayer Gathering Begins

A handful of English-speaking expatriate families started meeting for prayer and fellowship in a private home in Dixinn.

2013

Officially Welcomed into EPEG

The growing fellowship was formally recognized as an English-speaking congregation under the Evangelical Protestant Church of Guinea.

2015

First Permanent Worship Space

The congregation moved into its first dedicated worship hall, allowing for regular Sunday services and midweek Bible studies.

2017

Launch of Children's & Youth Ministry

A dedicated Sunday School and youth programme was launched to disciple the growing number of families with children.

2020

Online Services Introduced

In response to global events, the church began livestreaming services, reaching members and friends across several countries.

2023

New Sanctuary Dedication

After years of growth, International Church dedicated its current, larger sanctuary on Route de Donka.
